A contract between the customer and the City of London Jewellers for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and despatched and the goods have been adopted. Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice.
The information on this website, including prices, does not constitute an offer to contract or enter into an agreement. When you send an order using this website for goods and/or services, your order shall constitute an offer for the goods/services selected. Acceptance of your order shall only occur when your credit card is debited or another payment method is cleared. No binding contract is created until your order has been accepted. If, for any reason, we are unable to supply a particular item, we will not be liable to you except to ensure you are not charged for that item.

Registration
To register on our website, you must be over eighteen. You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete. It would be best if you inform us immediately of any changes to the information you provided when registering.
Password and Security
If you register to use our website, you will be asked to create a password. You must keep this password confidential to prevent fraud and not disclose or share it with anyone.
Prices
The prices shown on this website include VAT at the current rate and may be subject to change . However, once an item is in stock, the price quoted will remain valid and unchanged once ordered.
Please be aware that any orders placed outside the UK may be subject to local customs duty charges; any customs duty or charges will be the buyer’s responsibility as the importer of the goods.
Placing an order
To place an order via this website. If you need help placing an order on the website, please do not hesitate to contact us; we will be pleased to assist you.
Online orders may be placed at any time, but processing will only occur during our opening hours, from 12.30 pm – 6.30 pm, Monday to Friday.
Payment Methods
All orders may be paid for using Visa or MasterCard debit/credit cards, with online orders processed via PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to use Paypal. If you prefer to pay on collection, you may do so.
Delivery
Items are usually sent using Post Office Special Delivery at a charge of £6.95 (Mainland UK only). We reserve the right to change this if required, but you will be notified before despatch if this is the case.
Order Cancellation/Returns
You may cancel the Contract and receive a refund if you notify us (as set out in the third paragraph below) within 30 days of acceptance of the goods.
However, we regret that earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Orders for personalised and bespoke Items, such as but not limited to resized rings, or alterations of any kind engraved items etc., cannot be cancelled once the work has been started.
To cancel the Contract, you must contact us by phone or email to obtain a cancellation/return authorisation code to complete the return form enclosed with your Goods on delivery. If you are emailing us or writing to us, please include details of your order to help us to identify it.
If you have returned the Goods to us because they are faulty or misdescribed, we will refund the price of the Goods on the credit card or debit card used by you to pay.
If Goods have been delivered to you before you decide to cancel the Contract, then you must return them to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days after the day you let us know that you wish to cancel the Contract. Please see the return form enclosed with your Goods for our returns address and how to contact us for a return authorisation code.
Product Descriptions and Colours
While we try to represent the colours of our jewellery as accurately as possible, due to technical limitations of the internet/computer equipment, we cannot guarantee that the jewellery you receive will look exactly like the images on the site.
We have tried to represent the goods displayed on this website as accurately as possible. However, all descriptions, weights and measurements are given as a guide, and no guarantee or representation is made regarding their accuracy.

We try very hard to provide an excellent service, but if you wish to complain, please contact us by telephone, email or letter using the details at the top of this page.

The intellectual property rights to all material and content supplied as part of this website, including, but not limited to, the words, images and design, are vested in the City of London Jewellers. Material and content contained within this website are available for personal, non-commercial use to facilitate a purchase from the City of London Jewellers. Any other use of this material and content, including copying, transmitting, publishing, displaying, distributing or using to create derivative work, is not permitted unless expressly authorised by the City of London Jewellers.
